New Corporate and Banking Regulation Challenges: A Transatlantic Perspective

October 2, 2017 - October 4, 2017

Conference New Corporate and Banking Regulation Challenges: A Transatlantic Perspective October 2-4, 2017 / Cambridge, MA

The Congress took place on October 2nd-4th, 2017, at Harvard Law School. In the context of their long-standing cooperation, the Congress was jointly organized by the Real Colegio Complutense, the Institute for Global Law and Policy (Harvard Law School), and the Department of Commercial Law at the UCM. The emphasis of this conference was the analysis and debate about some of the key issues in the current regulation on banking and corporate governance, especially the comparison between the European experience (with special reference to the Spanish situation) and the U.S., as well as the new trends on early restructuring. The structure of the Congress tries to promote a fruitful exchange between all the speakers and provide attendees with information and materials especially valid with respect to the issues discussed.

More information about the conference and its program can be found here.
