A group is viewing a laptop at a table.The IGLP sponsored a lunch discussion with Caroline Elkins, Professor of History and African and African American Studies at Harvard. Her work – along with missing archives she uncovered – has had a direct bearing on legal claims by former Mau Mau detainees against the British government. Prof. Elkins had an open discussion with participants, entitled Authorizing the archive: Methodological reflections on the Mau Mau case.
