The Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice at the University of Texas at Austin is currently soliciting papers for its Human Rights Working Paper Series (WPS).  We encourage submissions from scholars of all disciplines as well as from activists and advocates that contribute to the Rapoport Center’s mission of serving as a focal point for critical, interdisciplinary analysis and practice of human rights and social justice.

The Working Paper Series is edited and coordinated by an interdisciplinary committee that includes graduate students and faculty from across the University of Texas.  Submissions are received on a rolling basis with priority deadlines of January 1 and June 1, reviewed, and then published online in a blog-style format.  This offers authors the ability to actively receive feedback and encourages readers to engage in debates surrounding human rights and social justice.

The WPS attracts draft papers that authors are seeking to eventually publish in a peer-reviewed journal.  Postings are intended to foster a “pre-peer-review” process between authors and interested readers.

Please visit the WPS website to read working papers and find information about submission and blogging guidelines.
